Why we started Pint Runners

The idea for Pint Runners started on a typical Saturday morning run. Virtual racing was picking up steam, and we couldn’t wrap our heads around the popularity. When we raced virtually, we found it lacking and just as costly as an in-person race. Our spontaneous idea was to provide something that people can do virtually while also adding some benefits – aside from a medal 😉

Since we both love running, cold beer and supporting local businesses, we think Pint Runners is a fantastic way to combine all three while earning some points on the leaderboard and winning cool swag!

We wanted to have a community where participation was paramount. So, you earn points for your mileage and/or for checking-in at taprooms anywhere in the world. If you have a running club/group or want to create one, you can challenge your team to reach the top spot on the leaderboard and win a happy hour credit at the end of each month!

We are excited for where Pint Runners can go in 2022 and we’re especially psyched that this year it’s all free!

Cheers! 🍻

Track, Road or Trail?
Love trails, but I spend most days on the roads.

Favorite Race Distance
Road 5k

Most Memorable Race
2018 Boston Marathon – it was my first Boston and the weather was absolutely miserable! It was the year Des Linden won, and I was inspired hearing the crowd celebrating that win as I went up Heartbreak Hill. I ran 3:03:45 for a marathon PR.

Favorite Beer
Lagers, usually pale, so basically a Pilsner 🙂
